The Medicine Buddha is the primary Buddha of Bodhi Meditation. In his right hand, he holds a stem of myrobalan leaves, and in his left, a bowl of healing salve. Sitting in a meditative posture in the center of a lotus throne, the Medicine Buddha’s body is radiant, shining brightness upon all beings.
Praying to the Medicine Buddha can help eliminate all sufferings and obtaining an illuminated body and mind.
